Common questions
How does the 30-day free trial work?
Install the app and everything is unlocked for 30 days — no card, no account, no auto-charge, nothing to cancel. When the trial ends, the app drops to free mode: the entire library stays readable forever, plus 3 AI questions a day. One $76 purchase unlocks the full software for life.
What exactly does the $76 purchase include?
Everything, permanently: unlimited cited AI answers across all 53 domains, every mini-app and calculator, the larger AI models, importing your own books/videos/notes, and free updates including new domains and features as we add them. No subscriptions, ever. Optional extras like regional map packs are separate one-time downloads, never required.
Does one purchase cover both desktop and iPhone?
Each platform is sold for that platform: Windows desktop direct from us, iPhone & iPad through the App Store — same library, same AI, same $76 pay-once price on each. Buy it where you'll use it.
Does it really work fully offline?
Yes. After your initial download, the AI, library, maps, and mini-apps all run on your own hardware with no connection at all. The app only touches the internet when you explicitly download something — optional packs or updates you choose to install. See our privacy policy: there are no accounts, no telemetry, and no analytics.
How do updates work?
Updates are free and always your choice — nothing installs behind your back. When you have a connection, you can grab the latest version and any new domains or content; everything keeps working offline whether you update or not.
I bought it — how do I restore on a new machine or after a reinstall?
On iPhone & iPad, use the App Store's built-in restore (you'll never be charged twice for the same purchase). On desktop, your purchase email contains what you need to reinstall; if you've lost it, email support with the address you bought under and we'll sort you out.
What's the refund policy?
App Store purchases are refunded through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple's policies. For desktop purchases bought direct, email us — the 30-day trial exists precisely so you can test everything before paying, but if something's genuinely wrong, talk to us and we'll be fair about it.
Can I import my own books, videos, and notes?
Yes — with the full version, your own material gets indexed into the library and the AI cites it the same way it cites the built-in references. Your files stay on your device; nothing is uploaded anywhere.
What do I need to run it?
Desktop: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit); the app picks an AI model sized to your machine during setup, so it runs well on ordinary hardware and scales up if you have a powerful GPU. iPhone & iPad: requirements are listed on the App Store page. macOS and Linux are on the roadmap.
